VR Simulations for Educational and Training Environments | - oVRview

What might learning and training environments look like in the future? That question plays a prominent role in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) agendas. For example, technology can help pupils and students learn more independently, perform better and contribute to more inclusive education resulting in more motivation.
After all, virtual learning environments have the added benefit of bringing educational material so close to the student that they feel they are present in it and is linked to positive learning outcomes. The question is to what extent VR simulations are effective in educational environments, a question that could be answered in a number of well-known studies, but what is unclear is to what extent realistic VR simulations have an effect on learning improvements in children.
