The knowledge and innovation agenda
CLICKNL, together with experts from the industries and knowledge world, has compiled the Knowledge and Innovation Agenda Resiliance for the Creative Industries. This agenda formulates what knowledge and methods are required to achieve a resilient and relevant creative sector. In addition, the creative sector can make an important contribution to the missions from the mission-driven innovation policy. The KIA Resiliance describes this role. The English version of this document will soon be uploaded. Visit the online Knowledge and Innovation Agenda Resiliance (DUTCH) >

Approach of the missions
The creative industries make an important contribution to the approach of large missions.
By making use of the existing knowledge base of the creative industries with regards to the missions, it becomes clear what new knowledge and methods are desired.
That’s why it's necessary to keep doing research on impact, methods, results and underlying principles and processes in the context of the missions.
In doing so, we develop new Key Enabling Methodologies (KEMs).

Three Roadmaps
The task of the creative professional and the need for the strengthening of the knowledge base of the creative industries are outlined in three roadmaps:
- Design for Change
- The Humane Touch
- Value Creation
-
All three roadmaps are of a multidisciplinary nature and all are used by the creative professional in practice.
They also are a work in progress: living documents that are reviewed regularly. They give direction and offer inspiration for research proposals and research programmes.
-
1. Design for Change
Strategies to get people moving by motivating them and influencing and stimulating their behaviour.
-
The move from a linear to a circular economy requires people to make us of material resources in a different way. Such transitions demand behavioural change on a system level. Designers can and want to play a role in this.

2. The humane touch
Strategies for binding and connecting, building trust and empowering people with regards to the increasing complexity of products and services.
-
In a world where technology is increasingly prominent, it is still about people trying to be happy and find their way. They give substance and meaning to their lives in the ever-changing world and try to navigate between leaving things to technology and taking control of their lives.
