Biography

Fenne Roefs is a designer, psychologist, researcher, and wayfinding expert at Mijksenaar, a design consultancy with a global reach and a rich heritage in Dutch Design. She is also pursuing a PhD in Cognitive Psychology at VU Amsterdam, focusing on how people perceive, understand, and interact with visual information design. At Mijksenaar, Fenne leads the Lab, a department dedicated to bridging the gap between wayfinding science and creative design practice.

During the Design Innovation Sesssions, Fennne will share an ongoing research and innovation project at the exciting intersection of sound design and wayfinding.
