Subsidy for cultural education for secondary vocational education

Do you want to promote the cultural development of students as a secondary vocational education (MBO) and cultural institution? Then this arrangement might suit you. In an initial collaboration and acquaintance, you develop contemporary cultural offerings that match the needs and living environment of MBO students. You do this in co-creation for and with students. They are also given the opportunity to experiment freely within the project. The scheme will close on 2 February, 2024, and applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, until the budget is reached.

Who can apply?
You can apply for a subsidy as a non-profit MBO institution established in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, or as a non-profit cultural institution.

What can you apply for?
You apply for a cultural education project, resulting in a contemporary offer that is in line with the students and gives an impulse to their cultural development. There is equal cooperation between an MBO institution, a local cultural institution and MBO students. You will collaborate with local partners to familiarise students with their cultural environment. The development and implementation of this project may require the promotion of expertise. This makes your project even more future-proof. You also offer room for a cultural experiment by students, in which they themselves are responsible for creating and implementing a cultural education project. The experiences gained by the students are taken into account as important knowledge in the further development of the offer. If you see opportunities to link the offer you develop for students with extracurricular activities, we welcome that.
