HERITAGE MEETS VR/AR/MR
THE WINNERS OF THE FIRST CALL FIELD LAB VIRTUAL WORLDS
From October 25th until October 28th the VR Days took place in Amsterdam. The morning programme on the final day, Friday 27 October, consisted, among others, of a Museum Morning. An interesting morning focusing on how VR/AR/MR and art can enrich each other.
Six projects selected from the first call had the opportunity to pitch their proposals during the Museum Morning for a so-called Dragon’s Den. Each project had two minutes two sway a three-headed jury with their pitch. The jury eventually decided which two projects will be rewarded. The jury consisted of Guido van Nispen (independent supervisor and advisor), Licia Calvi (NHTV) and Geert Jan Strengholt (VPRO Digital).
The winners of the first call Field Lab Virtual Worlds are:
Rembrandt Privé – Stadsarchief Amsterdam and Synergique
Time Windows – Rijksmuseum van Oudheden, Allard Pierson Museum, Archeologisch Museum Haarlem en Novitas Heritage
