MIT scheme for R&D-collaboration projects closing
Also in 2019, the government and the regions will jointly make money available for the so-called MIT-arrangement. The SME-innovation stimulation Region and Top sectors (MIT) stimulates innovation in small and medium-sized enterprises across the regional borders. From 11 June to 10 September you can submit for R&D-collaboration projects.
De MIT-arrangement consists of several instruments, that at various times are open for submission and which work with different rules. The call for R&D collaboration projects will be open on June 11. Submissions will be assessed after the closing date of September 10. Therefore they're not based on first come, first served.
R&D-collaboration projects
Do you collaborate with other SME-entrepreneurs to develop or renew products, manufacturing processes or services? You can submit a request for an R&D-collaboration project. In this way, the government stimulates innovation. This regulation will be open again on June 11, 2019.
On behalf of a partnership, an SME-entrepreneur can submit a request for an R&D- collaboration project. One MIT-R&D-collaboration project is focused on the development or renewal of products, manufacturing processes or services. The project consists out of industrial research and/or experimental development, carried out by a partnership of at least 2 SME-entrepreneurs (each for own account and risk).
● The subsidy contains a minimum of € 50.000 and a maximum of € 200.000 per innovation project, of which minimal € 25.000 and a maximum of € 100.000 per participant.
● The participants in the MIT-R&D-collaboration project do form a balanced partnership:
● As well as sharing the costs and the input of the participant
● One participant may not account for more than 70% of the costs
● Only the costs that are incurred by SME-entrepreneurs are eligible
● The duration of an MIT-R&D collaboration project is 2 years maximum
