Call for Entries virtual DDW open now!
After extensive consultation with the design community, key partners and relevant organisations, the word is out: Dutch Design Week (DDW) 2020 will take place! Due to the Corona virus the emphasis will be placed on an extensive virtual programme. Apply now for virtual participation in DDW20!
Since the virtual programme has to be more than just a digital version of a physical DDW, the organisation is currently working to develop strong online formats, such as virtual DDW talks, various livestreams, videos, and more. As part of the online programme, all approved participants can also set up their very own virtual 3D exhibitions in their own digital spaces. The organisation is working hard to make this happen. Soon more about how exactly this will work!
No participation fee for design studios
We all realise these are difficult times for the design field. Therefore, participating in DDW20 will be free of charge for designers and design studios. Other participants will pay an adjusted fee for this edition. Check out the overview to see what applies to you.
Studio exhibitions
This Call for Entries only relates to the virtual DDW programme. In addition to the virtual programme, they are also working on a small “live” version of DDW, which entails pre-planned visits to studio exhibitions in Eindhoven. The rules and regulations for this live programme are currently determined together with the local Safety Region. Keep an eye on the DDW website for updates!
