SIA CONGRESS: SEIZE THE SPACE!
Practice-oriented research at universities of applied sciences is research with impact. It plays a big role in solving societal issues and adds to the universities’ education. With the participants of the SIA-congress 2017 we will search for even more space for this research: how can we take space, create space and seize the available space? We will do so in workshops, debates, meet-ups and by learning from good examples.
The SIA-congress is for anyone involved in practice-oriented research at universities of applied sciences. Informative and surprising, with debates, workshops, nice examples of practice-oriented research and plentiful space to meet. This year will be about standing for the quality and relevance of your research and creating the space for that. It’s about the space that programs, initiatives and partnerships offer.
Moderator and chairman of the day of the SIA-congress is Peter van der Geer. He leads the participants through the day filled with debate about the value and authenticity of practice-oriented research, meetings on big research themes, sessions about internationalization, effects of research, research communication, open science and partnership with the SME.
