Too often, it is assumed that what is designed is accessible to everyone in the same way. This assumption leaves large groups excluded for various reasons. How can we ensure that design is truly inclusive?

Kevin de Randamie (Cre8tive Revolution Group) will give a keynote on this day, in which he questions: Who is designing the designer? Tjitske Lovert and Sharmila Angoelal will present their project addressing internship discrimination. Furthermore, the morning will feature a project supported by a broad consortium: Active Inclusive Design, which explores how to strengthen the capacity for inclusive design in designers' practice.
